Hannah's 1st Tooth!!!!

Sunday morning we woke up and as always, Ethan asks us what our dreams were about. So Dave proceeds to tell him that his dream was really funny! In his dream he went to pick Hannah up and she had this huge front tooth sticking out. So later that day, Dave decided to look in Hannah's mouth and sure enough there was a tooth poking out! What a coincidence! We didn't even know she was teething! She is such a good baby! We are so lucky. Last night, we had such a fun time going to our "dive-in movie". Our neighborhood pool does this once a month during the summer. We get to go swimming in the dark and they have a big movie screen up in front of the pool. Ethan thought that this was the coolest thing in the world. Hannah just loves the water, I put her in it and she just goes crazy. The pool has one of those beach entrances so I sat her up in the shallow end and she thought she was pretty cool sitting there by herself. She is now sitting all by herself, I can leave her sitting there and not worry that she is going to need help. She just turned 7 months yesterday, where has the time gone? We just signed Ethan up for pre school, and he is so excited! He starts Sept. 11th, and he goes every tues. and thurs. for 2 1/2 hours. He picked out a pirates of the carribean backpack to take to school, he thought he was going to get to take a lunch too so he wanted a lunchbox, but I had to explain that he doesn't eat lunch at preschool. We found out that the elementary that Ethan will go to has full day kindergarten. I was kindof upset when I heard that, I need the transition from him being at home all day, to at least half a day, before he starts full day. So I guess it is good he is going to preschool. It really hit me the other day that I only have a year left with Ethan at home, and it brought tears to my eyes, to know that he is growing up and starting school already. I just want my kids to stay little and at home forever. We also just signed Ethan up for soccer. He is pretty excited! We will see how that will go though! It could be interesting. Luckily at his age this league has parent participation on the field to help the kids know what to do. I actually think Dave is more excited about Ethan playing than Ethan is. Dave got invited by the guy in charge of the soccer teams to play on his team in an adult tournament this weekend, so he is really excited about that. Hopefully his ankle will hold up. I always get nervous when Dave plays sports! I am afraid he will get injured! Dave is still enjoying school. He has put brackets and wire on several patients now, and is excited about that. We are all doing really good! We miss everyone, and we are always wanting visitors!

That is pretty funny about her tooth. Both of my girls starting getting there teeth around this age too. Thats cool that Dave is starting to do some ortho. Doug just started this past week seeing patients so he is looking forward to doing surgeries. I can sympathize about the whole day kindergarten. I was a mess that first day when we dropped MaKenna off. I do think that having her in preschool the year before really helped her to adjust so thats good that Ethan is doing that. It's gets easier. You have a year to prepare. :)Dave is funny about Ethan playing soccer. I guess it's a guy thing. Take care.
