Ethan turned 8 in May, but we waited to baptize him this summer while we were in Utah, so that all of our families could be there for it. We did it on July 30th. He was so excited to be baptized, and his dad and I couldn't be more proud. We got to plan our own program since we did our own private baptism. Both of Ethan's grandfathers gave talks and did an excellent job and directed their talks towards Ethan so he could understand it better. Ethan was also excited to get his own set of scriptures with his name engraved on them. It was such a memorable and fun evening, and I am so grateful that we were able to do it in Utah, and I am grateful for everyone that came. I hope Ethan will remember this day for the rest of his life! And know what a great decision he made to be baptized. Sunday, August 21, 2011
