Scootin' Princess Style

I know, I know, Hannah is too small for a scooter already! But, she absolutely loves Ethans little scooter, she will get on it and just stand there on it, until you push her around and then when you push her around she makes a vroooom sound, it is so cute. So while we were at our usual trip to GW, we found this brand new disney princess scooter, that is a little bit smaller than Ethan's for only $4.99. So we couldn't resist getting her, her own! She loves it! It even has a little basket on the front and she puts her little princess dolls in it. She is so much fun, I just love having a little girl!

What the.......Roseola??

So Hannah broke out in a little rash last week, and so after a couple days of it, I called the dr. and they said to keep an eye on it, and call if it gets worse. Well it started looking better, but then on Friday, Hannah woke up with a really high fever, I gave her tylenol every 4 hours and it never really took the fever down. Late Friday night, her fever was up to 104 degrees. Saturday she woke up and the fever was gone and she was fine. Then Sunday night the rash had come back and it was ten times worse. So Monday morning I took her to the Dr. to find out she has Roseola! What is Roseola you ask? Well apparently it is a virus. The dr. said it is really common, and it is a severe rash resulting from a very high fever. I tell you this girl gets sick more than anyone I know. I swear every two weeks something comes on. What gives! A few weeks ago she had impetigo all over her face, we thought it was chicken pox, but luckily it wasn't. She picks up the strangest things. Ethan never got sick as much as she has. I don't know what her deal is. Anyway, these are pictures of her Roseola! I hope you can all see it. The last two aren't real good. These pictures don't do it justice, it looked so BAD!

MOMMY TAG!!!!

1. Typically what time do you wake up? I usually wake up whenever my kids wake up which is usually anywhere from 7:30-8:00am
2. On a good night what time are your kids in bed? Well, Hannah's bedtime is 8:00, and Ethan's is 8:30, but sometimes it ends up being a little later. But we aim for those times.
3. How long have you been a mommy? 5 years on May 6th
4. How old were you when you became a mommy? I was 24 when I had Ethan in May, but I turned 25 a month later in June.
5. What is your favorite kids tv show/movie? I don't really have favorites. But if I had to choose, TV show: The Backyardigans, and Movie: any of the Disney movies are good.
6. What is your least favorite kids tv show? Yo Gabba, Gabba! It has got to be the worst show out there!!!!
7. What is your favorite chore? What kind of question is that, how can you have a favorite chore! But I would have to say cleaning the kids rooms, because I love the way they look when they are all clean and everything is put in their place.
8. What is your favorite meal to cook? Hmmm... I like to make a recipe I like to call "Bowtie Pasta" with shrimp and asparagus, it is my favorite! I can't take credit for it, it was a recipe from my sister in law Amy. But it is delicious!
9. What is the meal you cook most often? For Dave and I, or the kids? For Dave and I- probably the bowtie pasta meal, for the kids- it is a tie between chicken nuggets and mac 'n' cheese.
10. What is your kids favorite meal? For Hannah, I would have to say hot dogs, or pizza! For Ethan, I don't think he has a favorite because he just plain doesn't want to eat ever. But he would probably say cheese quesadilla's or mac'n'cheese.
11. What is your favorite thing your husband does with your kids? I love it when he dances with them. Especially when he imitates Hannah's dance moves! Ha ha ha
12.What are 5 things that make you smile when you're being a mom? (1) Being able to hold my little newborn for the first time and knowing that it is my very own! (2) Seeing them do things for the first time, like smile, giggle, crawl, walk, etc. (3) Naptime! (4) Cuddling with them! (5) Just being able to stay at home with them everyday!
13. When was the last time you went out without your kids? Honestly, I can't remember! We don't have any babysitters, and we don't have family in town, so we do everything with our kids. Not that I am upset about that, because I really do love being with them every second, but it would probably be fun to get away, just Dave and I and do something fun just the two of us.
14. What is your favorite past time/activity to do with your kids? I couldn't pick just one, I love doing absolutely everything with them.
15. Name 1 thing you said you'd never do as a mom: Drive a mini-van. I swore that would never happen, and I still don't want to drive one, but I have to say, we have been talking about getting one, just because it is the only thing that we could afford that would fit more than 4 people, but if we were to get one, the minute Dave is making good money, that mini van would be gone!
16. What is your favorite quality that your mom has? She always makes sure that her house is super clean and has a fantastic yard. I wish my house was always as clean and organized as her's, and that I loved working out in the yard as much as she does, then my yard would look immaculate.
17. What is your advice for new moms? Spend as much time as you can with them, because they grow up sooooooo fast!
18. What is the scariest or most heartbreaking moment as a mom? The scariest moment was when I had to rush Hannah to the ER because she was severely dehydrated. She was so lethargic, it was scary! I haven't really had any scary moments with Ethan! But I must say I am scared to death to send him to kindergarten this fall! I don't want to send him out into this scary, scary world! It just breaks my heart! To think of all the evil that will be around him, and hoping that he will know to stay away from it all!
19. How many kids do you have, and how many do you want? I have 1 girl and 1 boy, and I want to have 3 or 4, but we will see!
20. What is your most joyful moment of being a mom? It's all joyful! I love when they prefer me over Dave(sorry Dave, no offense!), I love to hear them say "mama" for the first time, I love when they want to cuddle or hug and kiss me. I love seeing them grow and do new things. I love being able to stay at home with them everyday. I just love that I am able to be their mom!
21. When was the last time you were told "I Love You" by one of your kids? Ethan said he loved me, when he woke up this morning, and Hannah doesn't quite know how to say I love you, but she shows it all the time!

Our Weekend in Hurricane, Utah

I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while now, but since it takes me so long to upload a picture, I just haven't gotten around to it, until now. I warn you, there are a lot. Our friends, Heather and Cabot Curtis, from Dental school, invited us to meet them in Hurricane for easter weekend. We had so much fun, it was so good to see them again. Our kids had so much fun with their kids. Ethan and Mia were so excited to see each other, and they played so well together. We went to the Arts Festival in St. George, and they had a really fun water park for the kids to play in. The kids dyed easter eggs, and had a fun time waking up together to see what the Easter bunny had left them. We had a good time, it was too bad that it was so short though.
