Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The kids early this morning, disappointed that they didn't catch a leprechaun, but excited to see what he left them. Ethan was a little disappointed that he didn't leave a magic gold coin like he did last year.

Hailey and Ethan checking out what the Leprechaun did! What a mess, he knocked down a wall of their trap and climbed up the wall and back down again and left footprints all the way into the kitchen and into the fridge and dyed the milk green, they thought it was pretty cool and had to have green milk in their lucky charms for breakfast.

The Leprechaun left a little pile of coins underneath a rainbow for each kid

This is what it looked like last night after we got done decorating

Here is the trap that the kids built to catch the leprechaun. They were hoping he would see the Lucky Charms and want to eat them, so he would walk up the stairs and not realize that the wax paper would fall through and he would fall and get stuck down in. Little did they know that it wasn't going to catch that darn leprechaun.

Ethan, Hannah, Hailey(cousin), and Carly(cousin), just before going to bed. They were so excited to wake up and see if they caught a leprechaun. Epecially Hailey, she thought for sure that she was going to catch him, and she was going to take it home and take care of him.

Death Valley

At the borax mill.

This mountain behind Ethan is called an artist's palette. Dave said that this picture doesn't do it justice, it actually has alot of different colors on it.

Ethan and Dane enjoying all that sand.

Chillin on the Badwater Salt Flats

The Lowest Point in the U.S. , it is below sea level.

This past weekend Dave and Ethan went camping with some friends from our ward out to Death Valley. They had so much fun! Dave's friend found all the sites where they filmed Star Wars, and so they hiked out to all of them. Ethan loved that, he came home telling me that he saw R2-D2's tracks in the sand, and he wanted to know where the Star Wars characters were. Ethan was so excited for this trip, I am glad that they had such a good time together!

PRINCESS HANNAH

I found these pictures on Dave's computer that he took last summer and thought they were so cute! Right now this is Hannah's favorite thing to do, every morning after breakfast, she has to take her jammies off and put on the princess dresses. She goes from one princess to another in a matter of minutes, shoes and all.

Tiny Books of Mormon

This past Sunday, my lesson for my primary class was on the witnesses of the gold plates. So I found these dang cute little edible scriptures on a website called sugardoodle.net. I couldn't resist the chance to make these for my class! They turned out so cute! On them it says "You can be a witness of the truthfulness of the book of mormon and of the savior Jesus Christ" They are made with the Hershey's nuggets glued to black cardstock, and then I printed out the pages with the tiniest font I had, and then glued them on the chocolate and then glued on a thin strip of ribbon to look like a bookmark.
