Getting Settled

I know that you are all dying to see pictures of our house, but we have been busy getting it all put together. We finally just got our wireless internet installed today, so that is why I haven't been on our blog in awhile. As soon as everything is hung on the walls and it is all cleaned up I will take pictures of the inside. Pretty much everything is unpacked and put away! Ethan is liking his new school and has already made friends. He is lucky to have two boys from our ward in his school class, so that is nice! We love our house and are getting use to so much space and lots of stairs. We are enjoying Visalia so far. We feel like we are out in the country here! Ethan keeps saying "mom it looks like we live on the farm huh?" It is actually kindof pretty, I really like seeing green fields for as far as you can see! We ventured out to Fresno last week to see what the mall was like. It is a decent mall with all the stores I like, so that is good. The drive there takes about 40 minutes and is farm land all the way. We went and visited Dave's work in Hanford. Which is a nearby town about 20 minutes west of here. And yet again farmland the whole drive there! We met the girls he works with and saw his office. Our ward seems like a good one, it's hard to tell for sure yet, since I have only been once. Alot of kids though, so that is a good thing. It is such a smaller town than I am used to, so that will take some getting used to. I am anxious to enjoy all the produce and nuts that come from all the orchards around here! This will definitely be a new adventure for us and I hope it is a good one!

San Francisco

So last weekend we had the opportunity to go to San Francisco and without kids!! The company Dave works for asked him if he wanted to pick up a couple extra days working for another office near San Francisco. So he decided to take it and I decided that it would be fun to go out and meet him there and make a vacation out of it. Dave's parents decided to come along also. So my mom and my sister took our kids for us (thank you so much by the way). And we flew out and met him and had so much fun, we were able to go see WICKED!!! I have wanted to see it for along time, and it was AMAZING!!!! I don't think the smile left my face the entire show. I highly recommend seeing it. We were able to score some really great seats for such a great deal!! We were on the 12th row from the stage in the center aisle, and we only paid $100 per ticket! Which is a GREAT deal considering everywhere else wanted at least $250. Anway we did lots of shopping and we went down to the Fishermans wharf, and had some delicious seafood. We got to ride the cable cars, and Dave had to get the real experience and hang off the side. It was such a fun little getaway and it was even nicer to be able to go without the kids, even though I did miss them.
