Hannah's 1st day of Dance

So now that Hannah is 3, I signed her up for Dance. I am so excited and she is too!! She had her first day today, and absolutely LOVED it!!! She did so good! I was a little worried about whether or not she would participate and listen to the teacher, but she did everything they were supposed to! And even "leaped" across the floor one at a time, by herself!! They took a break and went and got drinks, and she walked by me and said "mom don't touch me, I am still dancing!" and then when the class was over, she said "mom I am not leaving, I am not done dancing"!!!!! What a nut!! She keeps asking when is it time to go back to my dance class! I hope she does really well and wants to keep dancing! She already got fitted for her costumes for their performance in June! They have to wear footless tights and go barefoot, so Hannah was a little disappointed that she didn't get to wear "ballerina shoes". But I think they do that because they do a little gymnastics too! I am glad that she likes it so much and I can't wait for her to do more! Oh and these pictures by the way are all of her "dance poses" as she puts it!!!

Happy Birthday Hannah!!

Oh my goodness you are 3 already!!!
Looking back at you on your 1st bjrthday! Where has the time gone?
You are such a joy in our lives! I can't imagine life without our little princess! You are such a funny, crazy little girl, that makes us laugh on a daily basis! You absolutely LOVE your brother, even though he is constantly beating up on you! You want to do everything he does and you copy everything he says! Hopefully you will always have this same love for him! You are such a girl in every way possible, you watch me get ready every morning and you want to try on all my makeup, you have to always have your fingers and toe nails painted, you march around the house in my high heels, sometimes when I ask for a kiss, you say "i can't mommy, i got lipstick on!" Love it!!! You always have to have a fancy dress for church(or mostly I like to put you in a fancy dress for church) and you often look at other little girls who are not in as fancy of a dress and ask me "why that girl not wearing her princess dress?" Oh how I want to just eat you up!! You love your daddy, and constantly throughout the day ask me where he is? When we were living in Utah this summer without him you missed him so much, and I remember when you first saw him after it had been a couple of months since you had seen him, you hugged him soooo tight and wouldn't let go, he went to put you down and you wouldn't let him, you said "daddy, hold me tighter!" You love to play with your baby dolls and your kitchen, your such a little mommy! You love to sing and dance, and I often find you in your room watching yourself twirl around in the mirror! You sing and makeup songs while we are driving in the car, and I have to turn off the music so I can listen to you, but then when you realize that I am listening in you stop! You finally are potty trained and have been for almost 2 months and you look so dang cute in your tiny little panties!! Oh how I could go on and on about you, but that would take way too long! I am so sad that you are growing up right before my very eyes!! It is going by toooo fast and I hate it, I don't want you to grow up, I want you to stay my sweet little girl forever! But I know that can't happen so I have to enjoy every minute of you being young! I want you to know how much I love you and I hope you have a fun 3rd birthday!!

Riding the Cable Cars

Waiting in line for the cable cars
Dave had a training meeting for Western Dental in Oakland this past Monday, so we left Salt Lake and drove to Reno, spent the night there and drove to Oakland the next day. We decided while we had time in Oakland why not take the Bart and go visit San Francisco. So we did and we had a quick yet fun time and the kids loved it!
