Hannah's 1st Tooth!!!!

Sunday morning we woke up and as always, Ethan asks us what our dreams were about. So Dave proceeds to tell him that his dream was really funny! In his dream he went to pick Hannah up and she had this huge front tooth sticking out. So later that day, Dave decided to look in Hannah's mouth and sure enough there was a tooth poking out! What a coincidence! We didn't even know she was teething! She is such a good baby! We are so lucky. Last night, we had such a fun time going to our "dive-in movie". Our neighborhood pool does this once a month during the summer. We get to go swimming in the dark and they have a big movie screen up in front of the pool. Ethan thought that this was the coolest thing in the world. Hannah just loves the water, I put her in it and she just goes crazy. The pool has one of those beach entrances so I sat her up in the shallow end and she thought she was pretty cool sitting there by herself. She is now sitting all by herself, I can leave her sitting there and not worry that she is going to need help. She just turned 7 months yesterday, where has the time gone? We just signed Ethan up for pre school, and he is so excited! He starts Sept. 11th, and he goes every tues. and thurs. for 2 1/2 hours. He picked out a pirates of the carribean backpack to take to school, he thought he was going to get to take a lunch too so he wanted a lunchbox, but I had to explain that he doesn't eat lunch at preschool. We found out that the elementary that Ethan will go to has full day kindergarten. I was kindof upset when I heard that, I need the transition from him being at home all day, to at least half a day, before he starts full day. So I guess it is good he is going to preschool. It really hit me the other day that I only have a year left with Ethan at home, and it brought tears to my eyes, to know that he is growing up and starting school already. I just want my kids to stay little and at home forever. We also just signed Ethan up for soccer. He is pretty excited! We will see how that will go though! It could be interesting. Luckily at his age this league has parent participation on the field to help the kids know what to do. I actually think Dave is more excited about Ethan playing than Ethan is. Dave got invited by the guy in charge of the soccer teams to play on his team in an adult tournament this weekend, so he is really excited about that. Hopefully his ankle will hold up. I always get nervous when Dave plays sports! I am afraid he will get injured! Dave is still enjoying school. He has put brackets and wire on several patients now, and is excited about that. We are all doing really good! We miss everyone, and we are always wanting visitors!

Here is Ethan playing in the sand on the beach

Here is proud dad with his kids at Disneyland!

Here is Ethan in his Mickey Ears!

This is our family in Disneyland, just after the fireworks, that is the castle in the background.

We just got back from Disneyland for our second time this summer! We had so much fun! We went with my mom and dad and my sister and her husband and son. It sure was a lot hotter than it was when we wen't in May, and the lines were sooooo long. Thank goodness for the fast pass. We spent time on the beach, and Ethan once again loved it. I can't say the same for Hannah, she was sitting in her car seat without the seatbelt so it would be more comfortable, and I guess the sand shifted or something and she tipped over and slid out head first into the sand, and because she was so sweaty the sand stuck every where! Her head was covered, and we couldn't get it off, so we had to wait until we got back to the hotel and bathe her, we had to wash her hair several times before we could get it all. I felt so bad for her! It is always sad to come home! Especially to the lovely weather in Vegas. Well here are some pictures of our trip. They are not that great due to the fact that we didn't take that many, because we were just having too much fun that we forgot to take any.
