Last night we had family home evening and it was about our blessings and being thankful for them. Well we were talking about being thankful for our homes and the things inside them, and then I asked Ethan what would we do if we didn't have a home or any of the blessings inside of it. And he said "we would just be drunk", Dave and I looked at each other and said what the heck does that mean. Well then Ethan went on to say, "we would be drunk and sleep in sleeping bags and be like the bums on the streets." Here in Vegas there are a ton of homeless people all over, even in store parking lots trying to get money from you. So I guess he has really noticed them. Dave and I had to laugh at that. But then I asked him again later, and he said "we would just pray to Heavenly Father and Jesus and ask them for a home and stuff that we need, and then they would just give it to us." I told him that sometimes it is not that easy. It is so cute that kids are so innocent and don't know what goes on in that scary world out there. I wish I could keep my kids in our home and they would never have to know the evils of the world. In our family home evening we wrote down our blessing on pieces of fruit(and ethan drew pictures of his blessings) and then we put the fruit in a cornucopia. Ethan had three pictures, on one it was a picture of him and his dad, on the other it was Ethan and mom, and the other was Ethan and Hannah. I was so impressed that he listed his family instead of material things. I am so proud of him! I always think that he never pays attention to the lessons, and doesn't remember what we are trying to teach him, but then he always surprises us. I am so thankful for the little family home evenings that we are trying to have and the spirit that comes from that. I hope that it will make us a better family, and to help teach our kids about the gospel.

I Have Been Tagged.....Again!!!!!
I found out that I had been tagged by Kara last week and I wasn't going to do a post on it because I hate the whole tagging thing, but then that same week Summer tagged me, and now Amber has tagged me, so I guess since 3 people have tagged me in the last week or so I should do it.
Here are the rules:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 little known facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
1. I absolutely hate toys all over the house!!! I know I have two kids so it is bound to happen, but I really can't stand it. I have finally come to my senses and wait until the kids go to bed for the night and then I will clean them all up. I used to clean them up as soon as they were done playing with it. But only to find that it will be right back out. I once told Ethan that toys were only allowed in his room, and no where else. That didn't work. It is impossible to not have toys all over. You think I would not buy my kids so many toys for this reason, but I love to buy my kids stuff, it is my downfall.
2. I am literally obsessed with blogs! I love to read other peoples blogs, to get ideas, and to see what they are up to. I am really bad! Dave says it is all I do anymore, and it is the truth.
3. I am a night person. I love to stay up late and watch all my recorded shows on my DVR after the kids go to bed. I hate to see the night end. And I am not a morning person. But ever since we had Hannah I have had to learn to be a morning person. We were spoiled with Ethan, he always slept in, but little Hannah has to rise at 7:30am!!! TOO EARLY!!!
4. I am a junk-food-aholic! I have the worst diet on the planet! My daily intake is primarily junk food. I always have to have a cupboard full of it. Dave hates that I eat like that. I really should stop!
5. I absolutely HATE to cook! I am not that good at it either. If I don't have a recipe then forget it. I just dread when dinner time comes because I know I am going to have to make it. My poor family!
6. I LOVE babies!!!!! Especially one of my own! I always tell Dave that I could have a permanent baby around. I dont want alot of kids, but I just want one that would stay a little baby forever. I am totally serious on having one forever! If anyone can figure out how that would work let me know!
I am not going to tag anyone, because all of my friends/family have already been tagged within the last few weeks, so I won't make you all do it again.

Pictures of Halloween
We gave Hannah some of our Halloween candy, and boy did she love it.
I guess we are terrible parents, we, or I guess I should say I gave her a sucker to see what she would do.
