Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day at our house. A couple of weeks ago, Ethan came home from preschool, saying he wanted to make a trap to catch a leprechaun. So over the course of the last couple of weeks, that is all he has talked about and he has been trying to come up with a plan for a trap. So Dave and Ethan made a trap out of his tinker toys. Ethan set the trap out Sunday night in hopes of catching a leprechaun. He was so excited and kept saying "Mom, can I keep him, when I catch him?" He was coming up with all these ideas on what he and this leprechaun would do. So, the next morning, he was so excited, yet disappointed. He was so excited that the leprechaun had been to our house, there were tiny green footprints all around and the cage had been tipped over, and the leprechaun had left him a card, gold chocolate candy, and a magical gold coin(dave had a gold sachajawea coin-not sure how to spell that.). He just kept saying "I can't believe he was really here" over and over again. I was just cracking up. So then he decided he needed to make his trap better for next year, and he is already working on it. Later, I caught him in his room wishing on his magical gold coin. He was wishing that the autobot transformers would come to life, so he could play with them. What a nut! So then he came to me and said "Mom, that leprechaun is a CHEATER!!! This coin is not magical, because it is not working. I guess I shouldn't have put that it was magical on the card, I just thought it would make it sound better, and be more exciting, little did I know he would actually try wishing upon it. But, all in all, he was so excited that a leprechaun actually was at our house. It was fun seeing his reaction. We still have the green footprints up, because Ethan does not want me to take them down. Holidays are so much more fun when you have kids.

Here is the card, and the gold candy, I went to several different stores, trying to find the gold chocolate coins, but I couldn't find them, so I did Rolo's. He still thought that it was cool.

Here are the footprints of the leprechaun, and the cage tipped over

Here is Ethan, that morning with his card and magical coin.

*Just some random pictures*

I wanted to do a new post and just loaded a bunch of pictures off of my camera onto our computer, so I thought I would post for all to see.
"Princess Hannah"
My sister in law Lisa, scored us this cute chair for such a good deal, it was like regularly $80 or something and we got it for $12. She found at her Target in SLC, shortly after Christmas and when they came to visit this past weekend, they brought it for Hannah, and I had forgotten about it, so I was excited all over again. It looks so cute in her room. It's definitely fit for a little princess.

Hannah trying out her new princess throne. I have to say that when we first put it together, we couldn't keep Ethan away from it, he wanted to play with it, and didn't want to let Hannah sit in it. So I teased him that he must be a princess then. He didn't like that too much.

Hannah trying to play with Ethan's marble run. He doesn't like her to touch it, nor do I because it has lots of little marbles. Ethan's Grandma Cooper sent him a giftcard to Target for Valentines Day, so he could go buy himself a toy, and he picked Marble Run, which is a really fun game. You have to build different contraptions for the marbles to go down.

Having a backyard has been the best thing for Ethan, he plays out there almost everyday. He loves the sandbox and climbing his slide. I am glad that he has an area to run and play.

Mom and the kids in the truck, we hardly have any pictures of Dave and I with the kids, so we thought we would take some while we were out in the backyard.

Dad and the kids in the truck, pardon our ghetto backyard, we were sick of looking at an ugly backyard. When we moved in, it was pretty bad back there, weeds had pretty much taken over the place. So we planted some plants this past fall, so we could actually have some greenery back there, but they all died, so we are going to try again now that it is getting warmer. I hate all the bare dirt, with no plants. And I am not sure what kind of grass was planted back there but, we think it is green straw.

Hannah kicking back enjoying her new chair, she absolutely loves it, sometimes you can't get her out of it. Ethan puts his little chair next to hers, and they sit there watching cartoons and sipping their sippy cups together.

Hannah watching some baby einstein, she is actually staying put for more than two seconds. And seems to really like those movies. This little chair is so soft and she looks so darn cute in it.

Hannah sitting in the kitchen watching me make dinner and having a drink. She will pull it up to the fridge and play with the alphabet letters while sitting there.

Ever since she got this little chair, she has taken a liking to the baby einstein movies, she gets excited about some of the objects that come up on the screen.

Ethan thinks he is pretty cool that he can climb his slide. He likes to get far away and get a running start and climb it as fast as he can

Hannah sitting on her little car, it also turns into a walker, and she can cruise around the house like nobodies business with it, but take it away and she can't walk that well. She is getting better, she can take about 6 or so steps and then falls, hopefully one of these days she will get the hang of it, she loves the backyard and wants to go out there all the time, but I don't like her down on the ground.

Ethan and Hannah, enjoying their wagon. They absolutely love it! We have gone for many walks to the park, or around our neighborhood, and they love it, Hannah doesn't ever wan't to get out.

Hannah playing under her highchair, plus I had to capture her in her cute pigtails
