PHOENIX ZOO

Our little family at the phoenix zoo, we had so much fun! Thank you Amy and Darrel for sharing your passes with us!!

Hannah had so much fun playing around in the caves

I think this was our favorite animal at the zoo, they were so fun to watch and there was a little baby, and Ethan and Hannah were just going crazy watching them play! Dave also had fun taking pictures of them!

A two headed turtle? No, just Ethan and Ryan sticking their heads out of the turtle shell

Dave was having fun taking a bunch of pictures with his camera

Hannah absolutely LOVED petting the goats!! She just loves animals of all kinds. She gets so excited and giggles, and just goes crazy around them!

Ethan and his cousin Ryan playing on the tractor at the zoo, these boys have so much fun together

Dave took a bunch of pictures of Hannah, but we tried to get Ethan and he wanted nothing to do with it.

The kids and I looking at the rhino's, Ethan doesn't look to enthused about the whole thing.

We went to Phoenix over Veterans day, because Dave and Ethan had a four day weekend with it being Veterans day and all, so we decided to go visit Dave's sister Amy and her family. We had so much fun!! It was really nice weather, and the kids were dying to go to a zoo, so thanks to Darrel and Amy for giving us free passes we were able to go and have so much fun!!

Playing with cousins in Phoenix!!
The kids thought it was so much fun to lay in Amy and Darrel's bed and watch movies together!
Hannah and her cousin Emily played so good together, they had so much fun playing in Emily's room. They loved getting in Emily's bed!

Here they were all snuggled in under the covers!

Hannah and her cousin Emily all ready for church, don't they look so cute?

This is how we kept finding Hannah and Emily, they were watching tv in Amy and Darrel's bedroom.

Little Miss Hannah

I thought Hannah looked so cute, and I had just made her flower clip for her hair, so I wanted to take some pictures of her. I wish I was a better photographer, had a way better camera than I do, had wireless internet and photoshop, so that I could take some really cute pictures and make them look really good. And that my kids would actually hold still for 2 seconds to get a good picture. But I thought these turned out cute for what I could do!! Hannah is so funny and so cute! She is trying to speak in sentences and it just cracks me up!! She is also a little shadow to her brother lately! She goes everywhere with him, and if he leaves the room she yells "Eee-nan, are you"! She wants to do everything he does and tries too!! When we drop Ethan off at school she yells "Eee-nan, school" when we pull up and then when he lines up at the door she runs up to him in line and yells outloud, "Bye, ub you(love you) Bye, ub you!! Over and over until she can't see him anymore! She loves him so much, despite all the abuse he gives her!!

This little girl just brings so much joy to my life!!

Here she is winking for the camera

I was trying to get her to do different poses, or to smile and she wouldn't cooperate very well.

Halloween Night

We went to Town Square on Halloween night for trick or treating! It was so crowded, but the kids had fun. We went with some of our friends, and Dave's parents. Trick or treating seems so different here in Vegas. I don't feel comfortable going trick or treating around our neighborhood when we only know about a couple of our neighbors. In Utah we pretty much knew everyone of our neighbors. I miss that!! Town square is a new outdoors mall here in Vegas and they were doing trick or treating at all of the stores, so we thought that would be fun for the kids. It was so crowded and the candy wasn't that great, so I don't know if I would go there again next year!! When we got back from town square, our neighbor across the street wanted us to bring the kids over to their house so they could see them in their costumes, so while we were doing that it was still early enough that we took them to some houses around ours, and as we went to the first house, Ethan said "Mom why are we going to our neighbors house for candy?" and I realized that he had never done trick or treating at someone's house before. So we explained to him that we used to do that and that is usually how you do trick or treating. He still thought it was weird!! So who knows maybe next year we will be somewhere where we can go trick or treating around the neighborhood!
