100 random things about our family!

Here we go!

1. Our family consists of 4 people
2. Dave speaks spanish
3. I absolutely love planning parties
4. Ethan is left-handed
5. Hannah has a birth mark on the back of her neck
6. Dave and I went to Cancun for our honeymoon, and our first year anniversary.
7. Dave is a dentist
8. Sometimes Dave shaves his chest, because he knows that I hate hairy chests. (he is going to kill me for this one.)
9. Dave's first car was a 1974 vw bug, and mine was a Saturn coupe
10. Dave served an LDS mission in Anaheim, CA (spanish speaking)
11. I got braces for the first time after Dave and I were married
12. I don't want my kids to grow up
13. I could honestly have a newborn baby forever, I don't want to have alot of kids, I just want a permanent newborn baby that stayed that way forever, or until I got sick of newborns.
14. My favorite flavors of ice cream are: Mint chocolate chip, and orange sherbet
15. It took us three years to get pregnant with Ethan, and 1 1/2 years to get pregnant with Hannah. How long will it take for the next one? (not that were trying though)
16. I have the worst eyesight, I am pretty much blind without contacts or glasses.
17. When I was little I was racing on my bike and hit a rock with the front tire, and I flew head first over the handle bars. I suffered a brain concussion, and to this day I don't even remember everything about it.
18. Dave loves the outdoors, (hiking, camping, flyfishing, etc.) and I absolutely hate it!
19. When we lived in SLC, UT, and Dave would have to go out of town, I would be too scared to stay alone at our house, so I would have to go stay at my parents. Even after Ethan was born, he was about 3 weeks old, Dave had to go out of town with the military for 2 weeks, so we packed up and stayed at my parents for two weeks. I still get scared to death to stay alone, at least I can have Ethan sleep with me to keep me safe. I won't let Dave go out of town for that reason.

22. I can't stand toys being in our living room, where people can see them.
23. I miss Utah way too much!!!!
24. I want 3-4 kids
25. Hannah's ears are pierced. She got them pierced when she was 3 months old.
26. Hannah's great grandma gave her real diamond earrings for christmas! I don't even own a pair of diamond earrings.
27. Ethan has extra large feet. He always has. When he was only 5 months old, he wore a size 3, and by the time he was 7 months old he was wearing a 4. Hannah is just about one, and she is barely wearing a size 3.
28. My first concert was Chicago, and Dave has never been to a concert.
29. Some of my favorite movies are: The devil wears prada, How to lose a guy in 10 days, the wedding planner, Hitch, Transformers( I am serious, it was really good, and I am not just saying that because Ethan is obsessed with them), the list could go on.................
30. Some of Dave's favorite movies are: Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter
31. Ethan probably comes so close to owning all of the transformers!
32. Dave and I are both some of the pickiest eaters
33. Ethan was afraid to swing on a swing until just last summer.
34. Most people want to look hot and sexy on the wedding night, but not Dave, he wore a hernia belt on our wedding night. For those of you that don't know what it is, well I can't really describe it, but is is really bad!!!! He thought it would be funny!
35. I have been to Hawaii, and left Dave at home! (The dentist that I worked for sent us all to Hawaii, and Dave couldn't go!)
36. I had my ears pierced when I was 3 and then I had a second hole pierced when I was in 7th grade.
37. My new favorite song right now is "Apologize" by One Republic. I have to play it over and over again.
38. Dave enjoys gold prospecting. (weird huh?)
39. Dave's new favorite thing to do is smoke meat in his new smoker
40. Hannah's middle name is the same as mine, "Lee"
41. Dave surprised me and flew me to San Diego to propose to me on the beach.
42. I LOVE to shop!!!!!
43. I absolutely love cheese and dill pickles(no I am not pregnant)
44. Hannah loves shaking her little booty to music, it is the cutest thing ever.
45. Hannah was really "Paige" for the first day in the hospital, we even told everyone that that was her name, and then Dave and I woke up the next day and we both had the feeling that she was a Hannah.
46. My favorite color is Pink
47. Ethan hates singing
48. Hannah says "Hi" to everyone she see's and if they say Hi back, then she says it again, and if they say it again, she says it again, and so on and so on. People just start to laugh because she won't stop.
49. My biggest fear in life is death, and of getting cancer.
50. Wow, I made it to 50, I don't know if I can come up with 50 more!
51. I absolutely love getting all dressed up. Last May I had just way too much fun getting dressed up for Dave's graduation Gala. I could do it all the time. I just wish I had some excuses to do it.
52. I really like southern accents, and have always wished that I had one.
53. I am embarrassed to admit this but I love watching "The Hills" and used to watch "Laguna Beach". And I seriously want to live there and have their lives, only with kids and a husband. When we went there this past summer, we drove through Laguna Beach and I so badly want to live there.
54. Dave works out and lifts weights almost every day.
55. I wish I could be motivated to work out everyday.
56. Ethan is crazy over Transformers
57. I am obsessed with how I dress my kids, more so with Hannah!
58. I love to wear high heels everyday. My feet hurt when I wear flats!
59. Ethan and Hannah already know how to fight
60. It is so funny to see Hannah get mad at Ethan, she gets this mad face, and points at him and starts screaming like she is mad.
61. I don't think Hannah will ever walk! I just don't think that she wants to. Everytime that I try and get her to walk or try doing it without me holding her, she either falls down immediately or puts her legs up in the air so her feet won't touch the ground. What a little stinker!
62. Ethan and Hannah went to Disneyland twice last summer!
63. Ethan is in preschool and he loves it and is learning so much, and I can't believe he will be in kindergarten this next fall.
64. I love being a mom, it is the best thing in the whole world, especially when they would rather come to me over their dad, even though I feel bad when Dave wants them and they don't want him.
65. I love being able to be a stay at home mom, especially knowing I don't have to go into work everyday. But at the same time, going to work wasn't as much work as raising two kids sometimes.
66. Dave and I met at a dental office that I worked at. Were just all about Dental in this family.
67. Dave loves to make up weird nicknames for people, I have had several different weird names since I have known him. Right now he calls me "pants", Ethan is "monks", and Hannah is "tweety pie". I don't have any clue why. He is so weird.
68. Dave is very smart and knows alot, and puts in alot of hard work to be able to provide for us someday.
69. I want my kids to be popular and have lots of friends and be involved in a lot of things.
70. I want my kids to be smart and work hard and make something of themselves.
71. I had a normal delivery with Ethan, other than I had a 4th degree tear with him, so because of that, I had to have a C-section with Hannah. And this may sound weird, but the c-section was so much better to me. I loved not having to go into labor, I just had to be there at a certain time and a couple of minutes later I had a baby. Definitely the route to go for me.
72. Ethan has learned to talk back to us, and is very good at it.
73. Both of my kids love to dance to music really loud. Ethan will always say "mom let's have a party" and that means he wants to turn on the stereo and have us all dance.
74. Dave was trying to do his hair in a "fauxhawk" and thought it was called a "fro-hawk". I had to correct him, and he tried to use the excuse that his hair is always a "fro" and so he called it a "fro-hawk".
75. I want to be the best mom ever, but I think I am far from that. There are so many things I want to do with my kids or things that I want to teach them but don't.
76. Dave loves ice cream, especially when it has Magic Shell on it.
77. Dave loves to sleep in, he could honestly sleep until noon if we let him. How is it fair that I have to get up every morning at 7:30am, no matter what, but he can sleep in till whenever he wants on the weekends? Something seems wrong with that.
78. Dave loves to cook, especially from scratch, but he never gets the time or chance to.
79. I get so paranoid about everything and worry that the worst will happen all the time, and Dave never worries about anything and thinks whatever happens will be no big deal, and is always getting mad at me for being such a worrier.
80. Ethan's favorite song right now is "Gettin Low" by Flo-rida, and everytime the chorus part comes on saying "Next thing you know, shorty got Low, low, low, low" Ethan moves his hands down lower and lower, it is funny.
81. Dave went on a blind date for a Homecoming dance at his high school once.
82. I could totally be someone who goes clubbin and getting all done up for fun.
83. We signed Ethan up for soccer this past fall thinking he would really enjoy it, and he totally hated it. He said that he didn't like all the running. We teased him that we signed him up again and he threw the biggest fit ever.
84. Whenever Dave comes home from school and Hannah hears the key being turned in the lock, she heads straight for the door saying "da da" da da". I am sure that makes Dave feel good.
85. Dave enjoys growing different palm tree's from seeds. We drive around town looking for seeds that have fallen from different trees or he finds little seedlings growing out of the ground and transplants them.
86. Ethan is such a heavy sleeper, nothing wakes him up. This past weekend, my family was in town visiting, and the kids were sleeping in our room, and Ethan was long asleep and Hannah woke up screaming and for some weird reason Dave let her crawl all over Ethan on the floor and she was hitting his face, and then we decided to move his sleeping bag to a different place, and he is still sleeping through all of this. Amazing! Hannah on the other hand is the lightest sleeper ever! We can hardly do anything around the house, and we have to practically whisper when she is asleep.
87. Dave is going to be an orthodontist in a year and a half! Yay!!!!!!
88. About a year ago, Dave broke his ankle while playing volleyball with his dental school friends, and drove home at midnight with the broken ankle and crawled up the steps to our apartment and into our room, and said I think I hurt my ankle. He was on crutches for awhile, and I was pregnant so we had a fun time.
89. My calling in our ward is a primary teacher for the Valiant 10 class, and Dave is the Bear scout leader.
90. Dave and I really, really want to move back to Salt Lake, but we are afraid that it is so saturated with dentists and orthodontists that we are worried at how well he would do. So who knows where we will end up. If it is not in SLC, Utah, then it would be either Pheonix, or right here in Las Vegas.
91. Dave is the biggest bargain shopper I have ever met. He will spend weeks, maybe even months shopping around for something, just to get the cheapest price. His classmates at school ask him everyday what deals he has gotten lately. They know him as the bargain king! I think that he will still be that way even when he is making money.
92. Last January, just before I had Hannah, I found out that I had skin cancer. I had to have a big chunk removed off of my skin right by my collarbone. So now I have this big scar, but at least no cancer.
93. Dave really likes electronics and circuits
94. Dave and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 12, 1998.
95. I worked as a dental assistant and a dental receptionist for about 7 years.
96. My favorite restaurants are P.F. Changs, Olive Garden, Koyo(in SLC, Utah) CafeRio and Red Lobster, Dave's favorite restaurants are Rubio's, The Cheesecake Factory, Koyo(in SLC, Utah), and Morton's Steakhouse.
97. Ethan's favorite places to eat are: McDonalds, Rubio's, Olive Garden, Pei Wei, Cafe Rio (he says they have excellent quesadilla's). He really named off all of these.
98. Ethan loves to go Bowling! He has been 3 times. Honestly, he gets close to the same score as I do. In fact we went to Red Rock Bowling this past weekend and did the cosmic bowling and he thought that was really cool.
99. Hannah had to spend some time in the E.R. a couple of weeks ago for dehydration.
100. We love being a family, and doing things together. We are doing all that we can so that we can be an eternal family.
